Website design and development

A website that makes your business easy to understand and easy to choose.

Your website should answer the questions people ask before they get in touch. We bring together clear copy, thoughtful design and a reliable build, with a simple next step on every important page.

Who it is for

Businesses launching their first serious website, established companies whose site no longer reflects their work, and teams that need a clearer path from interest to enquiry, booking or purchase.

How the work moves

Five steps you can follow.

Each step ends with something you can review. Read how we work.

  1. 01

    Understand

Agree the audience, offer and main action.

  2. 02

    Shape

Review the page plan, copy and a visual direction.

  3. 03

    Build

Implement the approved pages and connections.

  4. 04

    Check

Test real journeys, including errors and mobile use.

  5. 05

    Launch

Connect the domain, check indexing and hand over the site.

What affects scope

Page types matter more than a simple page count. A room page, a product catalogue and a customer portal involve different work. Copy volume, integrations, content migration and the availability of assets also affect the plan. Hosting, domains and paid platform subscriptions are identified separately.

Options to scope separately

  • Online stores and catalogues
  • Multilingual content
  • Migration from an old website
  • Membership areas
  • Advanced booking flows
  • Custom illustration
  • Photography or video production
  • A CMS for regular publishing
  • Ongoing content and improvement work

What is agreed before we start

Every proposal identifies the deliverables and quantities, review rounds, the content and access we need from you, third-party costs, acceptance checks, ownership and licences, launch responsibilities, training and the support period. Search positions cannot be guaranteed, and hosting or platform subscriptions are not included unless the proposal says so.

Questions

Specific to websites.

Can you improve our existing site?
Yes. We first assess the content, design and platform, then recommend the useful changes. The scope may be a focused improvement or a full rebuild.
Can we update it ourselves?
We can include an editing system for the content your team changes regularly. We agree who will update what before choosing the setup.
Do you include SEO?
We include the agreed technical and on-page foundations. Ongoing publishing, outreach and competitive search work are a separate scope. Search positions cannot be guaranteed.

What would you like your business to do better?

Tell us what you are building, what is getting in the way or what needs to change. A rough idea is enough to start the conversation.

We’ll review your message and help clarify the next step.
